Viet-Cajun crawfish has become a unique expression of Houston, Texas’, culinary identity. Here are some of the best restaurants in Houston to feast on Viet-Cajun crawfish.

  1. Wild Cajun

At Wild Cajun, owner Lee Ngo worked hard perfecting the flavors of what is now his top seller – wild Cajun crawfish. The dish consists of crawfish that have been boiled in Cajun spices, then tossed in a garlic, spice-infused butter. You can also dine on crawfish egg rolls, crawfish etouffee, and crawfish fried rice.

Wild Cajun has two locations: 6533 Wilcrest Drive, #104 and 13602 Belaire Blvd A1. The Willcrest location is open Sunday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Thursday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday from 2 to 11 p.m., and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. The Bellaire location is open Sunday from noon to 10 p.m., Monday through Thursday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday from 3 p.m. to midnight, and Saturday from noon to midnight.

  1. Cajun Kitchen

Cajun Kitchen focuses on the Viet-Cajun seafood boil culture and is recognized as one of Houston’s top restaurants. Dig into crawfish that have been cooked in a wok before being boiled in a delicious Cajun seasoning. The Kitchen Special includes crawfish that are tossed in garlic, green onions, orange, lemons, and butter.

Cajun Kitchen is located at 6938 Wilcrest Drive and is open Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from noon to 10 p.m.
