Houstonians love to celebrate holidays. That’s why Houston is full of so many events and activities to enjoy during every season, including the Halloween season. The following are just a few ways you can be festive this Halloween.

 

Science Spooktacular at the Houston Arboretum & Nature Center

From Oct. 19-24, the Houston Arboretum & Nature Center is hosting its daily Science Spooktacular. You can make slime as a part of the center’s science show, listen to bedtime stories, and visit the Halloween Trail. This year, there will be some virtual components to watch after the live presentations.

Zoo Boo at the Houston Zoo

From Oct. 2 through Nov. 1, the Houston Zoo will be hosting its annual Zoo Boo event. You can enjoy festive decorations, Halloween-themed activities, and trick-or-treating at the zoo. Some of the activities include a Spooky Train Village and short stories.

Haunted Halloween Pops From the Houston Symphony Livestream

On Oct. 31, the Houston Symphony is hosting a Halloween-themed streaming event. You can listen as your favorite symphony music is played, along with music from classic movies like “Psycho,” “Ghostbusters,” and “Harry Potter.”

Halloween might look a bit different this year. However, this doesn’t mean that you can’t still have a good time. There are plenty of fun things to do to celebrate Halloween in Houston this year, whether at modified in-person events with limited attendance or at-home events.
