Engine and Performance

The 2021 Volkswagen Golf GTI is expected to have a turbocharged four-cylinder engine and a standard six-speed manual transmission. The U.S. model is expected to have a similar engine output to its European counterpart, which generates 241 horsepower. The Golf GTI also comes with a new Vehicle Dynamics Manager that gives you greater suspension adjustability.

Interior

Inside the cabin, you can expect to be introduced to a variety of new technology. Some features include automatic climate control and a steering wheel with touch-sensitive multi-function controls. When you go higher up the trim levels, you can expect a10.3-inch digital gauge cluster, larger than standard in lower trims, and a 10.0-inch touch screen infotainment system. Some standard features include automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection and lane-keeping assist.
