But over time the filter can become clogged, decreasing your vehicle's power and its fuel efficiency. This is because the engine has to work harder to get the same power, due to a lack of air. Simply find the reservoir, which should be translucent. Look at the levels and make sure that the fluid is between the minimum and maximum lines.
