Long after the sun goes down in Houston, you may find yourself looking for a midnight snack in your after-dark adventures. When this day comes, we suggest heading to these great late-night restaurants:

  1. El Rey Taqueria

El Rey Taqueria has a few locations around Houston, but only their store in Washington Corridor is open until 3 a.m. from Thursday to Saturday. If you’re looking for something to hit the spot, their Cuban and Mexican menu items are sure to do the trick. Tacos, tortas, Cuban sandwiches, and more await your late-night escapades.

  1. House of Pies

If you’re worried about who’s open and who’s not, worry no more. House of Pies is a 24-hour, 7-days-a-week American comfort food destination where your grandparents might have had a midnight snack. They’ve been famous for their pies since 1967, but they also have a full menu of dinner specialties that are sure to hit the spot any time of the day.

  1. Me’lange

For fans of Asian cuisine, there’s nothing better than a trip to Me’lange in the wee hours of the morning. This Asian-fusion restaurant is open until 3 a.m. from Monday to Thursday and 4 a.m. Friday to Saturday. Some of their most popular dishes include their pad thai, top-notch spring rolls, and fried rice options.

There are many restaurants in town that stay open late, but these are some of our favorites. Start exploring and let us know which are your favorites, especially if they’re not on this list.
