How to Enjoy the Fourth of July in Houston

The patriotic extravaganza runs from 4 to 10 p.m. The pyrotechnics never disappoint.
- 4th of July Weekend at CityCentre
This free event features live country and rock music from 7 to 11 p.m. While you’re there, you can fill up on delicious eats from City Centre’s many restaurants. Out of towners can retreat to the on-site hotel after the celebration. But don’t forget the fireworks! A 15-minute display will light up the sky at 9:30 p.m.
- ExxonMobil Summer Symphony Nights: Star-Spangled Salute
If classical music is more your style, you will want to head out to the Miller Outdoor Theater on July 4th. Bring a picnic, blanket, and lawn chairs to this relaxing concert and exciting fireworks display. The fun gets started at 8:30 p.m. The event is entirely free.
